Speaker Profile:  
Kathleen Gillis, PMP, Project Management Centre of Competency, Bank of Montreal
Kathleen has been managing IT projects since 1987, formally the last ten years for a large financial institution (30,000+ employees). She is the lead of Bank of Montreal’s Project Management Centre of Competency, where she is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Project Management process. Kathleen also provides mentoring to the organization’s management population. Her industry experience spans IT, financial institutions, logistics, oil and gas, and bio-remediation.


Program Description:  Attend this session to learn how to build a new kind of project map that enables you to move your project forward with confidence. See your whole project on a page, and a complete picture of all your stakeholders with information flow. Kathleen will also teach you a fast diagramming technique that will support more complete creation of: program charters, project charters, scope statements, stakeholder lists, change management plans, deliverable descriptions, information flow, communication plans and learning plans. This talk will also explain where effort should be concentrated and what groups might have more dependencies or require more attention. Includes demonstration and group exercise.
