oin your SOC Board of Director's for a very special November event.  This special event will include our annual Member's Meeting where you will hear about the activities of the Chapter during the past year and receive the audited financial statement for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009.  Also at this meeting,  join us in recognizing those volunteers who contributed their time, skills and expertise in many areas.  If you are interested in being a SOC volunteer, this will be the perfect time to get on board and learn more about the Chapter and the various volunteer opportunities.  And of course, the evening would not be complete without an educational presentation, one we are sure will leave you chuckling and remembering long after you have left the building!

1. Differentiate yourself: Strategies that make your services unique

How you present yourself can be a turn-on or a turn-off. Learn how to avoid the 'same old, same old' approach that your customers really don't need right now! Instead, find out how to match your language to how your customer thinks and gets motivated. Get great tips for making the difference that makes the difference for every client.

2. Understand what motivates each of your clients!

One size does not fit all. Shelle will show you what questions to ask each of your prospective clients to determine what they need to see and hear from you to say yes. You will know what to ask to find out exactly what to say, or not to say to get more business quicker than ever before.

3. Why normal proposals slow down the decision process

Have you ever noticed that some clients need your proposal yesterday and then it sits on their desk for weeks and nothing happens? Shelle will give you the inside scoop on how to create great proposals that get your prospective clients to make decisions, after and dramatically  increase your rate of success.
